These specialized early sunglasses feature deep orange/amber glass lenses that are distinctively acid-etched and frosted around the outer perimeter, leaving a perfectly clear, unfrosted circle right in the center. 

Historically, this "bullseye" design provided marksmen, hunters, and railroad workers with a form of tunnel vision—the frosted border blocked distracting peripheral glare from the sun, while the high-contrast amber center sharpened focus on targets against the sky or haze.
